Former Bloomberg Head of Global Media Sales & Syndication Joins AnswersMedia as Vice President of Network Syndication
Frank Traynor to lead expansion of the AnswersTV network
CHICAGO, IL - July 20, 2007 - AnswersMedia (www.answersmediainc.com), the industry’s premier multi-platform HD video resource, announced today that Frank Traynor has joined AnswersMedia as the Vice President, Network Syndication. Traynor formerly served as Head of Global Media Sales & Syndication for Bloomberg News where he was responsible for global production and distribution of all newswire, TV, cable, video on demand, radio and Internet products. He will leverage his years of media experience to broaden the network of partners that work with AnswersMedia and its video platform AnswersTV.
AnswersMedia creates, produces and distributes premium HD content focusing on delivering best in class informative programming across such topics as health and culinary. Its AnswersTV programming is designed for cross-platform distribution including Cable VOD and broadband Internet syndication. Frank Traynor will work closely with AnswersMedia’s executive team including CEO Jeff Bohnson in developing the distribution efforts for the AnswersTV platform. The company, which has already signed agreements with several broadband partners, is actively developing its syndication and sponsorship efforts for its original programming including HealthAnswersTV, an all evidence based medical channel providing consumers with deep and useful information featuring award winning broadcaster Jane Hanson.
